Pen Pal Project: Planning your first letter
Dear Passengers,
When writing your pen pal for the first time, you will need to introduce yourself. You will provide some personal information (name, age, where you live) as well as your hobbies and interests. You may also describe what you look like, where you study and what subjects you have at school. The planning grid below will help you organise your ideas into different paragraphs.
Remember that your pen pal is a student like you and he/she is learning Spanish so you will write the first three sentences in Spanish:
Me llamo ...
Tengo .... años
Vivo en ...
At the end of your first letter you will write three questions in Spanish, too. They will correspond to the information provided at the biginning of your letter. Therefore you will ask:
¿Cómo te llamas?
¿Cuántos años tienes?
¿Dónde vives?
The goodies that you will enclose in this first letter will be some photos of you and your family.
Use a closing for your letter and do not forget to keep track of the deadline in your booklet.
